In the new "OHMYNitroLite.ip" set, the author accidentally left out the "My Documents" icon. He provided a link to download this individual icon, but I don't know how to add it to the set. Could someone provide step-by-step instructions for adding an icon to an existing IP set?

THANKS!

Open Iconpackager, highlight the set you wish to alter, doubleclicking it seems to work for me, then click on button "Icons and Cursors" there you highlight the icon you wish to change, click on "Change Icon", browse to where you have UNZIPPED the replacement Icon, select/open, then File/Save Package, and there you are, package will now show with new Icon. Hope this helps, Jim.

Thanks Jim,

But that doesn't help. I want to ADD a missing icon, e.g., in this particular case, the My Documents[folder] icon; not replace an existing icon. So again...... how do you ADD a new icon to an existing IP set.

Hapkido....Jim is right as this is the way I added the missing My documents icon. All you do is load the OHMY Nitro package then select Icons & Cursors from the menu. Where you see the little triangle with an exclamation mark in place of the icon, right click and select change icon...a window appears>click browse and navigate to where you unzipped the icon>click on it to select>click OK to close dialogue box. The icon should then appear as normal....it worked foe me

Okay.... I realize what the problem is.... apparently the author has updated this package and added in the "My Documents" folder icon but with a different one than is offered in the single download he linked to. I loaded the package and didn't see any yellow triangle for the "My Documents" icon, e.g., in the "Desktop" icons section. But I didn't see ANY icon for "My Documents" in the "Folders" section. So, I assumed that it needed to be added. Thus came my confusion, especially when I loaded the set, there WAS a folder icon for My Documents in Windows Explorer and on the Start Menu. I must admit, I'm still confused about why there is no icon showing in the "Folders" section of the "Icons and Cursors" view, but at least it does appear when the set is used.

However, I did find 2 yellow triangles in the "Launch" section for a couple of items and using the method explained by you both, I added in the missing icons. So, this wasn't a total waste of time for you guys and I'm grateful for learning something new.

THANKS!!

Glad you got there in the end and that information was of some use, Jim.
