Somewhere in one of the posts here I think I remember this issue mentioned already but I thought I would give the matter its own thread. Using the latest WB 5.0 Beta, I am seeing "ghost" Titlebars, "magic pink" displayed on them and solid black Menubars as well. This occurs on both WB 5 specific skins as well as all my other WB 4+ skins. Sometimes clicking on the Titlebar will effect its display but not fix it.

I e-mailed Stardock tech support and was told that the problem is probably due to my Video Card (GeForce2 MX/MX400 w/78.01 drivers) and that this card probably doesn't support per pixel rendering. However, for quite a few days after updating to WB 5, I didn't have this problem then it suddenly appeared.

Perhaps it was a foolish thing to do on my part, I took the "hint" from Stardock support and purchased a new ATI Rad. 9550 256MB card which I am currently waiting for it to arrive in the mail. So, I'm wondering if anyone else is experiencing this problem either using the same GeForce2 MX/MX400 card or any other? and if anyone has found a solution for it?

Are you sure you are using the latest build on OD?

There was a bug in menubar painting which caused it to paint odd things in the menubar with some skins, but this should be fully resolved with the latest build on OD.

On the card, the good news is the ATI card should handle WB better in terms of speed & I believe it should also be compatible with Windows Vista when it is released.

Neil, as far as I know I have the latest build although it's hard to tell from looking at what shows in Stardock Central.

i had the issue on my taskbar of a "ghost image" being left behind after all windows were closed - but after i had uninstalled/reinstalled wb5 (i was having the "classic" issue also and stuff not skinning right) it has all been 100% smooth sailing for me i use a Nvidia Geforce 6200 right now. my sister's computer is running a Nvidia Geforce4 mx400 i believe it is.. *pretty sure* and she is running window blinds 5 with no problem either. (had the classic issue at first but that was fixed quickyl and easily) - everything goes as it should on hers also.
